What is current account?

It is the account type that can be opened without being subject to a certain maturity and without profit share revenue.

In which currencies can I have current accounts opened?

You can open current account in any currency you like. (TL, USD, EUR, etc.)

How can I open a current account?

If you are a real person;

You can contact with the closest Bank Asya branch or Türkiye Ekonomi Bankası and Şeker Bank that are our corresponding banks to open a current account.

If you are a legal entity;

You can contact with the closest Bank Asya branch to open an account.

Which applications documents are required to open an account?

If you are a real person;

Your ID card, Republic of Turkey identity number, Settlement document (utility bill for the last 1 month or certificate of residence issued in the name of the concerned person) are enough.

If you are a legal entity;

Tax chart, Trade Registry Gazette, authorized person’s list of authorized signatures approved by the notary public, authorized person’s ID card and certificate of activity are enough.

Which transactions can I make with my current account?

With your current account You can make Transfer and EFT, Bill payment, payments to Social Security Institution and Social Security Organization for Artisans and the Self-Employed, Credit card and personal loan repayment, Check drawing, Check-bill collection and the other banking services; School installment payment, Traffic Fines, Customs and the other tax payments, Automatic and regular payments, Donations etc.

If I give an automatic payment order from my current account for my bills, will any transaction fee be charged?

No transaction fee is charged.

Is my current account under state guarantee?

Up to 100,000 TL from the total amount in all your accounts is under assurance by Saving Deposit Insurance Fund.

What is participation account?

It is the type of account that gives the results of the funds deposited to the participation banks being used by these institutions and participating in the profit and loss to arise.

What is the difference between participation accounts and the deposit accounts at the other banks?

Against the participation accounts, account holders are not provided with previously determined revenue guarantee.

Money can be withdrawn from the participation accounts any time before the maturity.

Any kind of payments such as our bank’s Credit Card repayments, School installment payments, Personal loan, and Automatic Bill payment can also be made from Participation accounts on their due dates, with an order to be given.

How can we open a Participation Account?

You can open it at the closest Bank Asya branch and our corresponding banks.

If you are a Bank Asya client, you can open a participation account via our Internet Branch or Alo Asya (0850 222 4 888).

Can I withdraw money from my participation account on another date than maturity?

It is the type of account that gives the results of the funds deposited to the participation banks being used by these institutions and participating in the profit and loss to arise.

How can I know how much profit share I will get while opening a participation account?

Because the account opened has profit/loss sharing, it is known on the maturity.

They can learn the profit shares given for the accounts opened previously with the same maturity from our website or branches.

What are the types of participation account?

Profit/loss participation account, Free account, Interim payment participation account.

Can I give automatic payment order to have my participation account being deposited on certain dates?

You can give money adding order for your participation accounts to be added on maturity.

You can make your transaction at our branches, Internet branch, ATM, via Alo Asya at 0850 222 4 888, the other banks via EFT and our correspondent banks.

Are participation accounts under assurance?

To which account are profit shares transferred on maturity?

Profit shares are added to the principal on maturity.

Only at the interim payment participation account, profit shares are added to your current account you determined on account opening.

When was Bank Asya founded?

Who can get a check book? What must I do to get a check book?

Anyone, who has no problem with his/her/its market intelligence, can apply to our branches to get a check book.

Account holders, who intend to get a check book, can apply to our branches with the copy of their identity card with photograph and Republic of Turkey identity number and certificate of residence, and

Those, who are merchants, should submit their trade registers (updated certificate of activity, certificate of authority, list of authorized signatures approved by the notary public).

What must I do to open an account?

To open an account, you need to apply to our closest branch or our correspondent banks, with identity card with Republic of Turkey identity number and certificate of residence or a utility bill for the last three years.

How can I open an account, while I am abroad?

If the person, who is abroad, is a citizen of Republic of Turkey, firstly, he/she should send a power of attorney to someone in Turkey. In case that that such person that you provided a power of attorney applies in person to our branches with your identity particulars and your signature, an account can be opened in your name. (The third person, who opened the account, is only notified the account number, he/she cannot make any payment).

What is private current account? What can I do with private current account?

Private current account is the account type in TL or foreign currency, which can be opened without being subject to a certain maturity and without profit share revenue.

With the Automatic Payment Order to be given from your current account, you can ensure that all your bills are paid on time and with the regular Payment Order, you can ensure that your payments, of which payment date and amount is known beforehand, are made automatically.

How can I make transfer, wire transactions?

You can make your Transfer and Wire transactions through Our Branches, our ATMs, our Internet Branch and Alo Asya Telephone Banking on 444 4 888.

What is client number?

Your account number before Bank Asya is also your client number. If you had not defined any user name instead of your client number, you can login our Internet Branch by using this number.

Your client number is written as the account number in the book of account given to you during account opening and below your name in your AsyaNakit card.

What is addition number?

You can have multiple accounts tied to your client number before Bank Asya. In this case, all your accounts will be tied to the same client number, but a different addition number shall automatically be defined for each of your accounts. The addition number for your account is written next to your name in the account book given to you during account opening.For example, if your account number is written as “2-345-1”, then your account’s addition number is “1”.

What is branch code?

Branch code is the code of the branch that your Bank Asya account is opened. It is written together with your name in the account book given to you during account opening. For example, if your account number is written as “2-345-1”, then your account is before our Central branch numbered 2.
